Values and Ethos
Here we share our values and ethos for Clutton Primary School. Clutton is proud to be a Christian school, a place where diversity is celebrated and where all our children are equally valued, respected and encouraged to achieve their own personal potential.
Our ethos is that children should leave Clutton C of E Primary School fully prepared independent learners, they accept and welcome challenges, willing and able to contribute to life in modern Britain and be effective members of global society.
Clutton Primary School aims to provide all our children with the best possible start in life and makes certain that every child really matters. We will ensure our Christian principles form the basis of and permeates who we are and all that we do. We will deliver high quality teaching which provides exciting, challenging and enriching lessons. We will endeavour to make the school centre of the community, where all parents are encouraged, well supported and have their opinions valued.
As part of The Samara Trust, we share a joint vision of ‘enriching lives’, a vision that pervades all that we do across the Trust and our schools, and our principles are belief, resilience and respect. The Samara Trust brings together a variety of different schools to work together, supporting each other to create improved outcomes for our pupils in ways that would be far more challenging if we tried to do them by ourselves. This is the ethos of The Samara Trust. Our mission is what guides us. We are working together to provide exciting opportunities for a fantastic future.
