First place at the Bishop Heber Science Fair

Our Clutton Primary School pupils showed off their flair for science at the Bishop Heber High School science fair on the 9th March, with one of our pupils picking up the prize for year 3!

Three groups represented Clutton at the science fair with fantastic projects on The Solar System, The Effect of Single Use Plastics on Cheshire Wildlife and a Happy Hen Study. All of the children received certificates for their efforts, and Elisha won the year 3 category for her investigation into the effects of providing a stimulating enclosure for her chickens.

We learnt so much from all three of the projects created by the children, and we are so proud of their efforts in representing our small school. Elisha’s project on chickens even inspired a visitor to the fair to acquire some hens in her retirement.

Well done everyone!
