Curriculum
At Clutton Primary School, the children are always producing outstanding work, much of which is displayed in school. In addition to art and written work, they are all involved with singing and reading prayers they have written themselves either in church or at school assemblies.
At Christmas every child is involved through drama, music and singing in the infant nativity, carol singing and services held in school and St Mary’s Church. All the junior children take an active role in our summer extravaganza. This extravaganza gets more and more ambitious each year and the children certainly step up to the challenge!
Visits and visitors are an integral part of school life. They encourage the children to produce imaginative work based on where they have been and what they have seen. Trips are closely linked to topic work helping us to really bring a topic to life.
In EYFS, we utilise LCP Phonics which is based on letters and sounds, alongside Jolly Phonics. Our useful information section provides more information on the curriculum subjects at Clutton, and an overview for all curriculum subjects, including RE, by year group.
