WELCOME to Clutton Church of England Primary School.

***Our school has again been classed as OUTSTANDING by Ofsted following our interim inspection in April 2011***

We are a small, friendly, successful rural school set in the village of Clutton in the heart of the Cheshire countryside on the outskirts of the Roman city of Chester.

Our ethos of “enjoy, enrich, achieve” is one that follows every child throughout their time at Clutton Primary School. We believe that all children should be able to realise their optimum potential by receiving a wide range of high quality, barrier free, challenging learning experiences and opportunities. Diversity, too, is valued as a rich resource that supports the learning of all children in a happy, caring, secure learning community which promotes excellence.

We are part of the Broxton Federated Group of Schools and are also lucky to be supported by a team of hard-working governors and our PTA, The Friends, who fund raise on behalf of the school.

We have strong and effective links with our partner High School, The Bishop Heber in Malpas, the church and community, being involved in church services at many times of the year and in turn involving the local community in the life of the school through the different events that we hold.

I hope that any questions you may have about our school are answered here. Should you wish to arrange a visit, you would be very welcome. Please contact either Helen Studley or Carly Scholey in the office here at school.

You can read further about Clutton Primary School via the menu on the left where our full prospectus can also be downloaded as a pdf document.

I look forward to welcoming you to our outstanding school.

Mrs Barbara Hinds, Headteacher
